The team, led by its director Gonzo, was carrying out documentation and pre-production work on the industrial accident that cost the lives of 29 people (mostly women) last February, when the textile factory where they worked, which was located in a basement, suddenly flooded.

The journalists were scheduled to meet with relatives and friends of the victims, but, even before they met with them, they were surprised by the police in a cafe and invited to leave the place and go immediately to their hotel, from where they will presumably be expelled shortly.

“Nothing like this had ever happened to us in Morocco,” said the source, who also stressed the numerous programs they had previously recorded in the Maghreb country, so they were aware that filming permits are necessary, but not for pre-production work.

The journalist Jordi Évole premieres today on La Sexta his new program, Lo de Évole, with a first objective. The first objective is to revive himself and get rid of the sambenito of Salvados. The presenter knows that it won’t be easy: “It will be very difficult to get rid of the sambenito that this is similar to Salvados, but I would say that it has a more intimate point, and a production and a script that risk more. I hope that these nuances can be seen,” he told Colpisa.
