Although it seems that there is a good vibe among all those who are dedicated to the grateful and commercially profitable exercise of film animation, the truth is that competitiveness is very hard and cinematographically the fight is usually to death. With the almighty Pixar (note that Disney is already blurred in its multimillionaire acquisition) as the model/enemy to imitate (competing with it is almost a lost battle), cartoons made outside the United States tend to sacrifice a little their personal values to resemble and mimic the mainstream USA. Both monuments play a key role in the film, including in the denouement, which is reminiscent of some of Alfred Hitchcock’s greatest works (Death at the Heels).
