The date for the start of exams will be announced later, although, in the words of the Regional Minister of Education, Javier Imbroda, they will be held next June “if everything goes normally and the pandemic allows us to do so”.

The announcement clarifies, among other things, that “the start of the first test may take place on the same day as the presentation ceremony, or on subsequent days” and will be published 3 calendar days in advance.

(17/08/2020) Basque Country publishes the new dates for the Secondary 2020 competitive examinations: the delivery of the Didactic Programming will take place from September 30 to October 9 and the opposition phase will start from December (*canceled until 2021).

The foreseen dates for the celebration of exercises are subject to the indications given by the health authorities according to the evolution of the epidemic as well as to the availability of spaces that allow guaranteeing the effective fulfillment of the rules of social distancing.

Those who can prove that they have paid the fee to participate in the selective process summoned for the same body through competitive examination will be exempted from paying the fee. Therefore, only one fee would have to be paid in the case of the same call with different selective processes.

The first exercise will not be held before May 1, 2020 and will be held in the cities of Almería, Cádiz, Córdoba, Granada, Huelva, Jaén, Málaga and Seville, at the choice of each participant, who will state it in the corresponding section of his/her application.

It will consist of two exercises. The final qualification of the selective process may not exceed 120 points and will be determined by the sum of the score obtained in the two exercises of the competition.
