Few remember that ‘Al Rojo Vivo’ began broadcasting in 2011 at around 11 pm on a “thematic” channel that no longer exists, La Sexta 2 was called. The current affairs program was born wanting to be a nightly debate, like so many others. But, later, a clever programming change made ‘ARV’ find its natural sense as a morning news carousel at the time when everything seems to happen. This is how it became a reference format for La Sexta, that kind of headline show that viewers associate with the channel and that, in addition, serves as an ace up its sleeve in big events.La Sexta does not just do a news special when a relevant event happens, it directly deploys the personality of its most recognizable program. In this way, the viewer knows that ‘La Sexta’ will narrate whatever happens with its own intensely personal seal. A seal that does not look like anyone else’s, is authentic and can only be achieved within the television model that the channel has established.

“Good morning, as we said yesterday,” began Antonio García Ferreras welcoming Juanma Romero. “You look spectacular”, continued the presenter of Al rojo vivo on LaSexta, “Well, more or less”, replied the journalist of El Periódico with his voice cracking.
In addition, the collaborator of Al rojo vivo wanted to thank all the staff of the Fundación Jiménez Díaz “who have taken care of me and who have made it possible for me to be there today and that I am recovering well”. Ferreras pointed out: “And that you have fought like a wild boar, you had it very clear”.
